Privacy
Short version: we collect the details you type into the quote form, we use them to get you quotes, and we don't sell them to anyone.
What we collect
- What you tell us in the enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number and any note you add.
- The search that produced the enquiry: the postcode you entered, the drive time you chose, how many cars you have, and which operator you asked about.
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser, time of request) kept for security and troubleshooting.
We don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.
What we do with it
- Approach the storage operators you asked about, or operators that fit your search, to get you a price.
- Contact you with those quotes and follow up on your enquiry.
We share your enquiry only with the operators needed to quote for it. We do not sell your data, and we don't add you to marketing lists you didn't ask for.
Third parties we rely on
Postcode lookups use postcodes.io, map tiles come from OpenStreetMap and CARTO, and driving times are calculated by OSRM. These services see the postcode and coordinates involved in a search; they do not receive your name, email or phone number.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we're working on them and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can answer questions about a quote. Ask us to delete your details and we will.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Send us an enquiry through the site and say what you want and we'll action it.
